CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS FUN

Christmas was great! We had Virginia here, and then Mom & dad came for Keira's blessing on the 28th. We shopped, played Wii, went to movies, enjoyed eating out and had a great holiday. For New Years we had some friends over to play the Wii--it seems like a good purchase so far. As long as the kids keep my rules, I'm okay with owning one!
Here is our family on Keira's blessing day, Dec. 28th. We are grateful to have had all of our parents here; thanks for making the trip!

So what are your Wii rules?

Sorry Cindy-I haven't checked my blog for a while, but here are the Wii rules for our house:
-Wii only on Fri or Sat-after chores and homework are done and permission is given
-1-2 hours max.
-If you fight-Wii is shut off
-Kids don't touch the Wii, only Mom or Dad
-Rated E games only, unless Mom or Dad have previewed them.

So far we have really enjoyed it and haven't had any problems. We had the same rules with the Gamecube, so the kids are used to it. We like the Wii because most of the fun games are ones that you can play with the family. I am pleasantlly surprised!
