Catching up in 2011

I am embarrassed to say that it has been a year since we have updated our blog!  So much has been going on in our family that we have barely had time to live it, let alone write about it!  However, here's a quick run-down of what has happened for us in 2011.
January-We stayed warm in the cold weather, and enjoyed some snow--the first that really stuck all year.
Feb-Our Bishop moved to AZ., and Ryan was called to be the new Bishop of our ward.
March-We received a visit from G & G Harris and Kelli & kids.  We had lots of fun playing at the zoo!
April-The weather started warming up and Abby ran track.
May-The girls had their Spring Dance recital, and Kristeen "retired" after teaching music lessons for 10 years!
June-Kristeen's birthday, lots of swimming lessons for the girls, basketball camp for Tanner, Kristeen does Stake Girl's Camp again.
July-Tanner turned 12 and received the priesthood.  Emma turned 6. Grandma Teeples and Chelise and kids came especially for Tanner's ordination.
August-Ryan had a birthday, the kids started back at school; the girls in dance, and Tanner plays school football.
Sept-LOTS of FOOTBALL
Oct-Ryan and Tanner flew to Utah for General Conference--and for a visit with Mark & family and G & G Harris.
Nov-Keira has a birthday.  Tanner receives 7 more merit Badges for Boy scouts.
Dec-Lots of parties, too much candy, school programs, and school is out!

That is the condensed version of some of the things that we did this year.  As I look back on it, I am so grateful for our many blessings.  We have had a lot of hardships and many opportunities to grow, but I am so grateful for our wonderful family and many good friends who love and support us!  Merry Christmas!
