Every Labor Day since we have moved here, we have gone to the Balloon Festival. Along with a few families, we get up early and go see the hot air balloons take off over the water. We cook breakfast and have a great time. This year we went on Saturday, rather than Monday and we were glad, because there was too much wind on Monday and the Balloons got cancelled.
We also decided that after the Balloons, we would hit "Pirates Cove," a water park in Denver. The kids have been wanting to go, and it was a beautiful and warm day. We had so much fun on the slides and the lazy river--which Keira called the "Crazy River." What a nice way to end the summer!
